So to speak. We held the AGM on Monday past with a not bad turnout since we were competing with a Canucks game, The Bean Supper, and curling. The executive was elected for this term and a big thank you to Roland for taking on a director position as well as continuing to be the Webmaster. With a little cajoling we may even get you on a bike this year. With Jerry Fiddick from the Trails society sitting in several points of interest were discussed including the bicycle festival which is now looking to an event date in late September with the blessing of Ashcroft counsel. I will be forwarding a letter to The Village Of Ashcroft on Monday to hopefully get their approval and support. Our newest member Wayne Little dropped by the Bike shop Saturday to donate a SPOT gps location device which members will be able to carry when out on the trails. Thank you Wayne this is an incredible safety feature that allows people to have real time location tracking and call for help ability in their back pocket.
